From that day, a school was started in a rented house near Bhagal in Surat under the name of Anglo Urdu High School up to class:- 3 which gradually increased in classes. In 1945 our school was recognized by the Government and received a grant of Rs 425/ from the Government at that time 10 schools were functioning in the city.

School was shifted from Bhagal to Marwari Street Haripura Kanskiwad Surat.

On the day of 15th August 1947, when the country got independence and the country was busy in celebration,At that time the then Vice President late Advocate Ghulam Rasul Sheikh Saheb hoisted a flag on the main gate of the school.

From the day of 05-12-1952 the foundation of Anglo Urdu High School was laid and on dated 16-11-1953 the school started in this building from the second session which is functioning till date.

A mixed primary school was started from 6 June 1964. In 1972 a separate girls' high school for girls was started which is now known as Faiz AA Chakkiwala Girls High School.

Boys Primary School which is now known as Janab Qutbuddin Moallim Boys Primary School and Girls School which is now known as Janab Babubhai Sopariwala Girls Primary School have been started after closing the Mixed Primary School from academic year 1981-82.

In 2008, a kindergarten started in the name of Suraiyaben Yusufbhai Zaveri.

In 2012, a new Urdu medium school was started from Class-9 which currently runs classes from Class 9 to 12. In 2013 science stream classes were started along with the general stream which is running in Anglo Urdu High School. The classes of science are granted here.

The new committee elected in 2016-17 has given the organisation a 'new flight'. Junior, Sr. K.G. for English medium as per the demand of time. A fully English medium school has been started up to standard-10.

Thus Gujarati medium, Urdu medium and English medium schools are running .There are total 7 schools out of which two schools Anglo Urdu High School and Faiz A.A.Chakkiwala Girls High School are Granted Schools.

At present the institute has 5 computer labs, Out of which 4 computer labs have been renovated and equipped with new computers and digital AC labs with ultra-modern equipment. There are more than 12 smart classrooms with Wi-Fi facility and science labs equipped with modern equipment for science stream.

All the schools run by the institute provide quality education in a disciplined environment so that the result of the board examination of these schools is consistently higher than the schools of Fort area. The members of the committee are constantly striving to raise the educational level of the school. If we look at the history of 85 years, the institute has progressed a lot, starting with 1 class and now more than 100 classes are running in schools. Starting with 18 students, now more than 6500 students are studying. Despite all the schools equipped with physical facilities, there was a weak link. There was a missing link. Society and school had a dream.

There was no student in the school who secured more than 91 percent marks in the board exam. This dream was fulfilled when the March/April-2022 board exam was conducted and the results were out.

The society, principals, teachers and parents have contributed behind this goal of A-1 grade which has not been achieved. When the education work started in June-2021 but it was stuck between online-offline in the second wave and the third wave of Corona. In January-2022, when the schools started properly due to the reduction of corona cases, the president of the society, Mr. Palla Sir, his fellow office bearers and committee members decided that in this year the students of our school must come in A-1 grade

The President and his committee members made a plan in a meeting with the principals of classes 10 and 12. Students are prepared to provide whatever help or expense is required for this. As a part of which, all the students of class-10 and 12 were given free question paper sets of Gala.

As a part of this planning, clever students studying in the school appearing in the board exams separate meeting was held with their parents in the month of January in which President Mr. Palla Sir gave a very motivational statement to the students and parents. The principal kept the students in separate classes and constantly focused on their educational work, their exams were conducted every day. The board exam was starting from March 28, only we got two months’ time.

Board result made our dream come true. One of the two granted schools ANGLO URDU HIGH SCHOOL (Gujarati medium) two students in A-1 grade (one student could not get A-1 grade for one mark) and another school FAIZ A. A. CHAKKIWALA GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL 3 students came in A-1 grade.

Apart from this, 32 students from all the schools run by the society secured A-2 grade. Which is a historical achievement of the society and schools over the years. Which can never be forgotten.

Thus the progress of the organisation is contributed by many individuals over time. Please pray that this educational Institute makes a lot of progress.
